The CDS represents a joint effort of several college guide publishers to standardize
data definitions and data elements where they are common across surveys. The
CDS covers eight majors areas: general information, enrollment
and persistence, freshman admission, transfer admission,
academic offerings and policies, student life, expenses, and
financial aid. The
CDS contains
standardized data about the University. It was developed to
assist in the completion of external surveys such as Peterson's
Guide, IPEDS, and US News, etc. |
